PLANTERS CLUB WEDDING
SUFFOLK, VIRGINIA
W hen I first started talking with Jennifer, we bonded over our love of Starbucks coffee. Immediately we talked more like friends as opposed to strangers meeting on Facebook. I had the opportunity to meet the entire soon to be blended family when I did a Family Portrait Session. Jennifer has her hands full with all of these boys; she is completely outnumbered! However, the love and close knit family bond was clearly evident in the brief 30 minutes we shared that day.
We started the wedding day off in a hotel suite with the bridal party getting ready. The room was full of laughs, jokes, great girls and a beautiful glowing bride. Jennifer had mentioned that she wanted to do a "First Look" with her two boys. This was a priceless moment and it brought tears to my eyes to be able to capture this for her and her boys.
It was a warm and sunny day at the Planters Club in Suffolk,VA. The venue was beautifully decorated in a "tropical" theme. The colors of black and white looked so elegant and refined. Jennifer had so many personal touches: coasters for favors, coconuts cut in half holding photos of the couple, and real pineapples everywhere!
The reception was full of dancing, games, drinking and so much laughter and smiles. The day was full of so many wonderful memories that Brian, Jennifer and all of there family and friends will remember for many years to come! We are grateful that Jennifer and Brian allowed to to be a part of this incredibly monumental day for them. Cheers to many more years guys!
